There is no greater gift than that of which we already have. The reward lies in rediscovering what that is. The work of unlearning societal compounds and excavating our truths is deep work. Requires commitment. Expansion of our boundaries into the compartments we packed away deep within ourselves in hopes of avoiding discomfort. Digging forgivingly and empathetically into the pains passed unto us from those who lived before us, the torture, the cruelty, the shame, anger, rage and tears of our ancestors housed in us among our own experiences. We can not be free until we start unpacking Start forgiving Start loving Start trusting Start remembering That everything we need is there. That is the gift we are all in search of.
